9/20/19 – Noontimers

Linda Lawton and Simon Rosenstein, volunteers at SAGE Workshop in Summit will share their experience and insight: “On Volunteering.” With so many people with unmet needs, and with funding for social services being slashed, volunteering is becoming increasingly important these days. There are no shortage of ways volunteers can help make a difference. Both Linda and Simon have found a space at SAGE to “make a difference.” Simon is a retired physician who has enjoyed many hobbies, but now lends his fine cabinetry skills in furniture repair to the SAGE Workshop. Linda, a stained glass artist, uses her vision and dexterity in seat-weaving.

Noontimers meets in the Fellowship Room from 12 to 2 PM. Please bring a bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided!
